I have learned  a lot from G-hour this semester. I am excited to start it up again semester 2. My biggest question is are we going to have something out for people to listen to by the end of the year? some of my goals have changed. originally i wanted to be on the air by may but i think we will have it all set up and ready to record by then. i am hoping to have are website up with content by then just not on the radio.

Feedback

I was upset when I heard that we should start off web based but the comments let me know that a lot of people thought that that is the best way to start this off. I think we can make it work we just need to promote it more. Not much has happened since my last update but we have done more research and are on the right track.

next step

  Danielle and I spoke with are principal today and got a lot of feedback. Some good and some we didn't want to hear. he suggested that we do a web based radio show to start off with. I know that is the most realistic way to start off to see if people are even interested in it but that isn't really want we wanted to do. My goal is to figure out all the licensing because it is probably the trickiest part. we would like to start planning our proposal on making a class out of are radio show.

I'm a blogger

My G-hour project is to create a radio station for my High school. Tomorrow I have a meeting with the principal to talk about getting this started. We want to discuss turning this into a class because there is a lot that will go into this project if it works out.I was motivated to do this because my parents both did radio and they loved it so I want to give it a shot.
